Tenchimuyo! Ryoohki Best Album

This is a compilation of image songs and a couple vocal tracks from the first Tenchi OAV series. It comes in a standard CD jewel case, but it has no rear paper insert, so looks like a single, though it's a full 50 minutes in length. They make up for the lack of art on the back with a simply adorable picture of Sasami in a Ryoohki suit on the disc itself (see further down this page).

Personally, I really love the Tenchi music, especially the image songs. Tenchi background music is really great too, and if you're looking for that the Music Volumes may be more to your taste. The insert has lots of Japanese I can't read (yet), as well as individual pictures of the characters singing karaoke.

For Kiyone fans, she only sings on one song on this CD, but it's one of the best, IMO. From the time I got this disc I really liked track ten, but it was only when putting this page together that I realized "hey, that's Kiyone!"
